about

Tralala's debut single, “Out of Line” melds a deep bass groove with eerie synths and Drew’s plaintive, dissociated vocal, before everything drops away.

"Out of Line" is a song about dystopia, hope, and crippling existentialism. It was written about ten years ago, months after Drew first moved to San Francisco, but appropriately released in 2020. As Drew sings, ‘Listen, I know that it’s cold outside but I think we should go’ he beckons to himself and, perhaps, to his new band. In spite of everything, it’s time to be proactive and take some chances.
